NEXT Innovation Accelerator offers university students and industry mentors the opportunity to build their innovation skills through a 12 week accelerator experience. Students and industry mentors from Deloitte, IAG, and

Westpac work in teams to build Australia’s NEXT big innovation.
NEXT Innovation Accelerator aims to engage the NEXT generation of entrepreneurs and innovators in a large scale, nationally significant innovation accelerator. NEXT facilitates industry-university collaboration and helps develop Australia’s innovation and STEM capable workforce.
In 2016:

  1. 400+ students and mentors from across Australia participated in NEXT
  2. Participants generated 800+ ideas and pitched 63 innovation concepts to executive investors.
  3. 95% of industry mentors thought NEXT was an effective way to educate students on innovation and entrepreneurship
