Sydney based experiential education technology startup Intersective has announced several new hires and executive appointments.
- Nikki James has been appointed ‘Director, Learning & Experience delivery‘, taking on responsibility for the end-end operations of Intersective’s Experiential Programs business. Nikki is an experienced instructional designer, educator and social entrepreneur.
- Philipp Laufenberg will be promoted to Director, Product and Technology from his role as Manager, Technology. Phil’s new role will see him drive our future product roadmap, design and development process. We’re excited to see one of our early alumni take on this executive role.
- Sophia Demetriades Toftdahl will commence as Manager, Marketing & Communications. Sophia leaves a role as CEO of Dream Internships to join Intersective. Sophia has 16 years experience in marketing, business development & education, led an award winning start-up for 9 years where she found work or internships for more than 700 people, and launched the Norwegian Australian Chamber of Commerce, where she is currently President.
- Alvin Tolentino has been appointed Manager, Technology. Alvin is an experienced startup co-founder, CTO and full stack developer. He brings a wealth of experience in startups, social entrepreneurship and competency based IT education.
Co-founders Wes Sonnenreich and Beau Leese were enthusiastic about the appointments. Wes reflected that “we are really privileged to be able to make these changes to our leadership team to accommodate growth. That growth is due to the great customers we’re working with and their investment in the future of experiential learning.” Beau added “we’re able to bring in some high calibre people who share our passion for connecting the worlds of work and learning, and promote internal performers who’ve contributed a so much to our success to date.”
